Voices from the Table:
Takeaways from February Dinner Speaker

Last month, we welcomed Dinner Speaker Elizabeth Mahusay, CPC, whose session "Build Confidence | Building Bold Belief in Every Season," challenged us to rethink confidence at every stage of leadership. Dinner attendees shared powerful reflections—here’s what resonated most with our community.
Elizabeth was a great motivator, and the whole room was fully engaged and participating. My biggest takeaway was that how you start your day sets the tone for your confidence, and I appreciated the simple, practical steps she shared like choosing a daily affirmation, practicing one skill for 15 minutes, and taking courageous action. I plan to be more intentional with my mornings and add a quick reflection at the end of the day to stay focused and confident! ~Shailesh H.
When one thinks of confidence, they may think that some people already have it or they don’t. Sure, some can fake it until they make it. However, that is not truly where confidence comes from. It comes from the courage to act. When you have taken the steps and performed an action, you then look back and see how far you have come. That is what gives you the confidence. Your thoughts also play a very key role in the path towards confidence. If you aren’t happy with where you are now, you need to go back and revisit and adjust your mindset. ~Sapna S.
