What year did your volunteer join PMI Dallas and start volunteering?
I started with PMI in 2018 and started volunteering with the PMI Dallas chapter in 2023
Aside from the current position, have you held any other volunteer roles?
I currently serve as a volunteer at Applied PM for the student advisory board committee under the leadership of Michelle, and have also been actively involved in setting up the PMI DBU (Dallas Baptist University) Chapter under the leadership of Kimia.
Apart from the PMI Dallas Chapter, I am an active volunteer at several organizations:
- ASEI ( American Society of Engineers of Indian Origin) ;
- IEEE Technology and Engineering Management Society (TEMS)
- ACM - Academy of Computing Machinery
- IAAP - International Association of Accessibility Professionals
I have delivered around 25 keynote speeches and guest talks at PMI , ACM, IEEE , ASEI societies.
I am PMI ACP certification holder and mentored professionals on Project Management practices across 24 countries in more than 250 sessions through ADPList, a mentorship platform.
Any comments you’d like to share about your volunteer’s experience with PMI Dallas?
I am a passionate volunteer, attends all the PMI-led events, and is always available to volunteer with great enthusiasm and energy.
