Please join the PMI Dallas Chapter in presenting Doug Larson as our July 2023 Volunteer of the Month.
Doug Larson is an experienced Product Owner and Project Manager with 10+ years of experience leading digital marketing content and platform projects from concept through delivery.
Doug is also a former two-term VP Communications and AVP Technology serving on the Board of Directors and supporting the many active volunteers here at PMI Dallas Chapter.
For over six years, Doug has been volunteering with great success and many achievements. Most recently, he led an initiative to migrate 95 Chapter users from MS Office 365 to Google Workspace including Gmail, Drive, Meet, and Spaces for collaboration.
As a creative communicator with global experience managing marketing communications and technology teams to deliver solutions, Doug effectively utilizes his core competencies that include strategic planning, content strategy, campaign development, creative writing, graphic design, training, communications platforms… and of course Project Management to deliver value for the Chapter.
With a Bachelor of Fine Arts, PMP®, CSM®, and CSPO® certifications, plus career experience at Symantec, AT&T, Perficient, and founding his own DIY Smart Home consultancy, Doug has been an invaluable volunteer to PMI Dallas.
And we are proud to announce his most recent move to a new volunteer role with the Chapter as Content Director with responsibilities writing and managing content for our website, newsletter, and strategic initiatives as necessary.
